School Visits
Education tours and visits
School visits are welcome and we can cater for all age groups from Year 1 upwards.
Visits can be arranged on weekdays throughout the year by email info@wimbledonwindmill.org.uk or using the contact form below.

Classes of up to 30 can be accommodated at one time, usually divided into two groups of not more than 15 so that they can see and handle the exhibits without overcrowding. Approximately one hour should be allowed for a visit by one class. If more than one class is brought the other can visit the Information Centre nearby or walk on the Common before changing over.

There is parking space for cars and coaches close to the museum. If using public transport the nearest bus stop is about 1/4 mile from the museum.

There are no facilities for eating lunch in the Museum but there are a café and toilets next door and in summer the Commons provide a good site for picnics.
